Give through your workplace

Giving through your employer, also known as payroll giving, is a really easy and cost-efficient way to help fund our work.

Payroll Giving is an HMRC scheme that enables employees to give money to charity without paying tax on it. Your employer will need to have a Payroll Giving scheme set up – check with them.

Payroll Giving is simple to join and tax-free. This means, for example, if you donate £4 in payroll giving per month from your salary, your donation will actually be worth £5 to Tibet Relief Fund, at no extra cost to you.

It means we can plan ahead and make the best use of our resources, and it’s convenient for you as it just comes straight out of your pay each month.

How does it work?

  1. Ask your employer whether they have a Payroll Giving scheme in place*
  2. Decide how much you would like to give (minimum £1)
  3. Complete a payroll giving form and submit it to your employer
  4. If you ever want to stop giving or change the amount you give, simply contact your payroll department at work. Simple!

*If your employer does not currently have a scheme in place they can contact an approved Payroll Giving agency to set up a scheme.

Your regular gift will have a real impact, helping Tibetan communities to build a bright future with better education, healthcare and the power to support themselves.
