Raffle 2010

Tibet Relief Fund's Golden Jubilee 2010 Raffle was drawn on March 10th. All prize winners have been contacted. The first prize of a three week holiday to Nepal was won by a Mrs Dickinson from Wigan. We were delighted to offer our supporters the chance to win 12 incredible prizes worth over £5,000, including sensational holidays in Nepal, Snowdonia, the Lake District, Cornwall and London, a deluxe bed, designer goods, an organic hamper, luxurious holistic treatments, a paragliding course and even a bungee jump.

A great big thank you to all our supporters who have bought and sold raffle tickets. As a result of your hard work and generosity we have raised a fantatsic £12,000 from ticket sales; which will go to our vital work, raising funds for life-changing projects in India, Nepal and Tibet.

Prizes:

1st Prize: A sensational three week holiday in Kathmandu, Nepal for two people worth £1,500. Accomodation included in the Summer Palace Hotel Hotel

Throughout the trip, the prize winner will be able to explore historical Buddhist and Hindu ancient sites and palaces with inclusive tours, as well being offered the once in a lifetime opportunity to see Mount Everest from the air with a scenic breathtaking flight over the worlds highest peak. 9th Prize: One weeks stay in June or September 2010 in a handcrafted mongolian yurt in Cornwall, on the family run Stephen Gelly organic farm

This is the perfect opportunity to get back to nature whilst at the same time experiencing the comfort of a beautiful yurt. The farm is located in the middle of Cornwall with beaches and other attractions only a few miles away. The yurt is set in its own small field over looking the Camel Valley and can sleep four adults comfortably or a slightly larger family; and is equipped with a woodburning stove, gas hob and all the thing you’ll need for a comfortable stay.
