Tibet Relief Fund has launched an appeal to help Tibetan communities rebuild their lives following the devastating earthquake in Nepal.
With many international agencies now working to bring immediate relief to those who have suffered loss and devastation in the aftermath of the 7.8 magnitude quake that hit Kathmandu on 25 April and the severe aftershock on 12 May, Tibet Relief Fund will focus on helping Tibetans and ethnic Tibetans to rebuild their lives in the short and medium term.
Within shattered communities, both in outlying areas and in Kathmandu, there is so much to rebuild; homes, schools and other infrastructure, along with livelihoods, businesses and community sustainability.
Please help us to help people affected by the earthquake through practical and integrated initiatives to bring security for their future.
*Use Gift Aid and you can make your donation worth more!
We can claim Gift Aid on your donations, sponsorship and Goodwill Gifts. If you are a UK resident and pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax, your donations can be worth at least 25% more to Tibet Relief Fund at no extra cost to you. We can reclaim tax on all future donations and those made in the last 4 years, until you notify us otherwise. It doesn’t matter what rate of tax you pay, as long as the amount is at least equal to the tax Tibet Relief Fund and any other charities or CASC’s you support will reclaim on your donation for that tax year (Council tax and VAT do not count). This will not affect your tax status at the end of the year.
