Supporter Will Power: Read why Margaret Iggulden is leaving a legacy to Tibet Relief Fund

By remembering Tibet in your will, your concern for Tibet can live on. Leaving a legacy to Tibet Relief Fund makes a real impact for Tibetans and their future. Whatever the size of your gift, it will change lives.

Remembering Tibet in your will is very simple. Many of our supporters, after providing for their loved ones, have very generously left Tibet Relief Fund bequests. These have made a huge difference, supporting fantastic projects providing vital education and healthcare to Tibetans in need. Could you do the same?

To leave a gift, simply contact your solicitor and ask them to add a codicil to your existing will or help you draft a new one. Simply state that the gift is for Tibet Relief Fund and include our UK registered charity number – 1061834.

If you don’t yet have a solicitor, don’t be discouraged – the cost of making a will isn’t as much as you might think, normally around £100. You can get quotes from several places before committing – start your search here.

It’s important to make a will as this ensures your loved ones are provided for according to your wishes (otherwise the state will decide how your property is distributed).

If you could let us know that you are planning to leave a gift in your will to Tibet Relief Fund, we’d really appreciate it. You can do this by emailing [email protected], calling 020 3119 0041 or writing to Tibet Relief Fund, 2 Baltic Place, London N1 5AQ.

Get started with the following guides or contacting us with any questions you may have; we will be happy to explain exactly how each legacy contributes to our work. Call Caroline Petersen on 020 3119 0041 or email [email protected]
