Urgent appeal for Bakhang health post

Please help Palzom and her neighbours access vital medical care

The annual monsoon is going to hit Nepal in a matter of weeks, and when it does the only road out of Bakhang village will be washed away.

For the elderly, vulnerable or seriously ill – like 47 year old Palzom – this is a disaster. They will have to travel a gruelling 15 kilometres on someone’s back to get medical care.

There have already been casualties. Last year, one of the nuns from a neighbouring village, died on the road trying to get treatment for the terrible abdominal pain she was experiencing.

A new health post can stop this kind of needless tragedy happening – but only if we act fast.

The annual monsoon will arrive in as little as eight weeks.

A gift from you today will help provide the labour and materials needed to make this life-saving project happen.

This is the next step on the journey for the people of Bakhang to enjoy happy, healthy and self-sufficient lives. Please give today and be part of it.
