Today (29th January 2016) we sadly bid farewell to Tsering Passang, who has been with us since 2008. Here is a message from Philippa Carrick, CEO:
“After eight years of being Tibet Relief Fund’s Sponsorship Co-ordinator, Mr Tsering Passang will be leaving us for pastures new. I’m sure our supporters will join us in wishing Tsering well in his new ventures and thanking him for his hard work over the years. Our new Sponsorship Co-ordinator, Rebecca Miller, is already getting to grips with the sponsorship programme and looks forward to getting to know you all!”
Below is a farewell note from him:
I want to bid farewell to you all and let you know that I am leaving Tibet Relief Fund later this month. I have decided to spend some quality time with my two year old daughter and enjoy being a full-time Dad.
Over the past eight years, I have got to know and have spoken with many of our sponsors and supporters. During my years at Tibet Relief Fund, I have visited India and Nepal and seen the impact of your support on hundreds of Tibetan refugees in schools, old people’s homes and monasteries. I take this opportunity to thank you for your tremendous generosity over the years.
I am delighted to introduce my successor, Rebecca Miller, who will be looking after the sponsorship programme going forward. So, please extend a warm welcome to Rebecca and do get in touch with her on firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can stay in contact with me via my blog https://tsamtruk.wordpress.com.
Finally, I wish you a very good health and happiness for the future!
Thukje-che – thank you once again!
Good luck Tsering!
