Ngawang is 13 years old. She lives with her mother, grandmother and younger brother. Ngawang’s father passed away when she was just 7 years old, so Ngawang’s mother is the sole provider for the family. She sells maise which she grows on a small plot of land but unfortunately does not generate enough income to support her children sufficiently.
