Happy International Women’s Day!
One of our favourite projects is Tibetan Women’s Centre in Rajpur, India. The centre employs poor and vulnerable Tibetan women and trains them in traditional handicrafts, giving them brighter futures with more control over their income and the ability to fit work around family and childcare.
This year your donations helped the centre expand and improve its infrastructure, which means more women can be employed! Thank you.
For Women’s History Month we will be highlighting the central role Tibetan women played in establishing the original exile communities and how these women have continued to innovate and drive change for the past 60 years.
