Last weekend we held an exhibition of paintings, photographs and video at The Hive in north London.
The exhibition, held in collaboration with London artist, Simone Sandelson, tied together photographs and paintings which reflect the lives and thoughts of Tibetan children in exile. It also offered the chance to make a real difference to their lives through our sponsorship programme.
We are pleased to say that, despite the gloomy weather and problems with London transport, the exhibition was a great success.
It was a fantastic opportunity to meet with some local members of the public who previously knew little or nothing about Tibet – as well as to put some faces to names of long-standing Tibet Relief Fund supporters.
Thanks to the exhibition, we have managed to find sponsors for seven students at Tibetan Homes Foundation school in India, as well as raise some funds for our projects. You can start sponsoring today also.
We would like to say a big thank you to Simone, The Hive, and all of you who braved the weather to come out and see the wonderful work on display.
